CAMPGROUND AND TOUR REVIEWS

This campground is awesome and the hosts are incredible. Beautiful at night here. My UTV tour with Jodi was so fun! As a bonus they had 2 week old baby goats to love on - so cute! Wish I could've stayed longer.

UFO Valley campground is a unique experience. The host Jodi and Staci are wonderful hosts and make you feel right at home they have developed a wonderful boon docking experience for both RVs and tents providing smokeless fire pits, picnic tables, tiki lanterns and large sites all over looking the Skinwalker ranch. We were welcomed by Marshall a friendly cow dog and a herd of adorable goats - 15 baby goats and their herd - all so friendly. Our first evening was extremely cloudy and we went to bed pretty early so nothing interesting to report. Our first morning we meet several regulars to the campground and got a warm greeting and lots of great info about the area and activities in the sky ! At 9am we were picked up by Jodi and started our adventure to the mesa ! Jodi gives a fantastic and fun tour filled with great stories and insights from generations of stories from folks in the area. Jodi is very respectful of both the Ute population and the filming crew on the ranch. We were able to see most of the Skinwalker site we have become familiar with while watching the History channel show. The afternoon was spent doing a wonderful drive to Flaming Gorge - it’s a must see don’t miss Dowd mountain trail overlook ! That evening we enjoyed a great evening around the campfire with some regulars in the area and were pleasantly surprised with activity in the sky starting around 10pm! We saw several things we can’t explain - extraterrestrial? Maybe - but we had a blast talk discussing the possibilities. Forgot to mention another must-see excursion - McConkey petroglyphs wear your boots and enjoy a trip to the past imaging the hands that developed the art. Highly recommend the campground whether you are a fan of the show or not - great experience we are so glad we stopped by!

Camp at UFO Valley campground for a couple nights the host are super friendly. It’s a really cool place to camp. I would. I will definitely be back would highly recommend this place.

What a wonderful campground! And the camp hosts are the best! We had so much fun and we will be coming back every year. Beautiful country and a wonderful place to stay. Great views of the Mesa if you are into Skinwalker Ranch! Everything was wonderful!! Very highly recommend!!

What a great time we had. The owners Jodi and Stacy were absolutely fabulous and the greatest host anyone could ask for. They came daily to check on us to see if we needed anything which was very nice of them. Definitely and highly recommend the tour. Jodi was very knowledgeable of Skinwalker Ranch and all the episodes which really made the tour. Stacy took us on a rock climbing adventure in his bad ass ATV. Free of charge btw! Now, Skinwalker Ranch did not disappoint. We spent 3 nights at UFO Valley and on night one they did an experiment using the drones. Very exciting to see in person. Night two was uneventful but night 3 proved some of the theories true as an Orb flew off SkinWalker Ranch and right over our RV at an altitude of 500-1000 feet with a slow speed so we got to watch it for 15-20 seconds. Also the shooting stars were abundant this night as well as being able to see satellites. Thanks Jodi and Stacy for such a wonderful time and being the best host! Hope Stacy is recovering well from his surgery.
